Communication and Response Times

To ensure positive communication between home and school, St Mary’s aims to respond to enquiries in a timely and supportive manner.

Please see below for our expected response times:

• General enquiries sent via email or the school office will usually be acknowledged within 48 school working hours.
• A full response will usually be provided within 10 school days, although staff endeavour to respond within 5–7 school days and sooner where feasible.
• If further investigation or discussion is required, we will let parents/carers know and provide an updated timeframe where possible.
• Staff may not be able to respond immediately due to teaching responsibilities and supporting children or other families.
• Where concerns require involvement from additional staff members or external agencies, response times may occasionally be longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding in these situations.
