Welcome to Chestnut Class 2022 - 2023
Welcome to Spring term. I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and New Year and a well-earned rest. This is an exciting term for all of us and I can't wait to get going with our learning.
On this web page, you will find useful information about our class plus links below to homework which I will upload each week. Homework will be uploaded on a Thursday after school. I will also post any important messages on this page. Sometimes, I will even add photos of us at work, at play or on school trips so you can enjoy sharing these at home.
Homework
Homework is set weekly and always consists of reading and tables.
Maths will usually reinforce the area of maths currently being learned in class but may also include reinforcing KIRFs (Key Instant Recall Facts).
Newsletter
In Science, we were investigating how sedimentary rocks were formed millions of years ago - we did this with sliced bread, chocolate chips, marshmallows, wheat krispies and Werther original toffees!Photographs of some of our science learning.
